Owner guide
You created the TabbPay account. That makes you the person responsible for billing, Viva Wallet, and what other roles can and cannot do.
Day-to-day you do not need to be in the dashboard. Once a Manager is set up, they run operations. Your main ongoing task is reviewing invoices.
What only you can do
- Change the subscription plan or billing details
- Connect and manage the Viva Wallet merchant account
- Add additional venues (Pro plan)
- Promote a user to Manager
Getting set up
The dashboard walks you through each step on first sign-in. Email support@tabbpay.com if you get stuck.
- Company setup. Sign-up asks for your trading name, legal entity, country, and currency. You can edit any of these later under Settings, then Business.
- Connecting Viva Wallet. Under Settings, then Payments, click Connect Viva. Viva hosts the identity check on their site. We receive confirmation automatically, typically within one to three business days.
- The 60-day free trial. The trial begins the moment you create the organisation. You can invite staff and set up the menu straight away. On day 60, the card on file is charged 49 euro per month on Basic or 99 euro per month on Pro.
- Billing and invoices. Under Settings, then Billing, you see your plan, next charge date, and invoice history. Invoices are issued via AADE myDATA once your ΑΦΜ is set.
- Multi-venue (Pro). Add venues under Settings, then Venues. Each venue gets its own QR codes, menu, and staff list. Staff can be shared across venues.
- Promoting Managers. Under Settings, then Staff, find the user and change their role to Manager. Only Owners can do this.
Before you go live
Greek law requirements:
- Registered legal entity (for example IKE for solo founders, or EPE or AE for larger operations). The trading name on the dashboard should match the registered name.
- Active ΑΦΜ matching the entity.
- Business bank account in the entity's name. Viva Wallet pays out to this account.
- AADE myDATA registration. Required for guest invoices and TabbPay's subscription invoice flow.
You can start the 60-day trial before all of these are in place. Payments will not work until Viva Wallet identity verification is approved.
How payments work
TabbPay is an ISV on the Viva Wallet programme. In practice:
- TabbPay is the software
- Viva Wallet is your merchant of record for guest payments
- Money moves from guest to Viva to your IBAN, settled T+1 or T+2
- The platform fee (0.50% per transaction) is deducted by Viva at settlement on TabbPay's behalf
- TabbPay never holds your funds and never sees your bank credentials
