TabbPay works with both Viva Wallet and Stripe, and you pick one in your dashboard settings — the guest never sees the difference. The choice comes down to your acquiring setup, your payout preferences, and which you already use.
What is the same either way
Whichever you choose, the essentials do not change:
- TabbPay never stores card data — Viva Wallet and Stripe handle it, both at PCI-DSS Level 1.
- Guests pay by card or digital wallet from the same screen.
- The per-transaction fee is the same whichever you pick, set per venue.
- Interchange and the processor’s own fee are separate and depend on the card.
When Viva Wallet fits
Viva Wallet is a Greek acquirer and the one most common in Greek hospitality. If you want a local provider, local support, and a setup your accountant and AADE flow already recognise, it is the natural default.
When Stripe fits
Stripe fits if you already run it elsewhere, if you take a lot of international cards, or if you want its broader developer and reporting tooling. It works exactly the same for the guest at the table.
How to switch
You choose your provider under Settings → Payments in the dashboard, and you can change it later. The ordering and checkout experience the guest sees is identical either way, so the decision is yours to make on commercial terms, not on guest experience.
