TabbPay

Takeaway & pickup

Pickup orders that never touch the table tab.

A guest calls or scans, gives a name and a pickup time, and the order is built from the same menu. It is not tied to a table and is settled on its own at pickup, so a takeaway can never get mixed into a dine-in bill.

An order that lives outside the floor.

A takeaway in TabbPay is a normal order with no table attached. A waiter on the staff app or a manager on the dashboard takes the name and the rough pickup time, builds the order from the live menu, and it reaches the kitchen exactly like a dine-in ticket. The kitchen does not have to learn anything new.

Settlement is the one thing that is different, and it is deliberately strict. The order is paid once: either on your register at the counter, or by a QR pay link the guest opens on their phone. The two paths are mutually exclusive, so a pickup can never be charged twice. You turn it on per venue when you are ready.

What is in this

Phone-in or QR

Take the order over the phone from the staff app or dashboard, or let the guest place it themselves. Either way it lands in the same queue.

Off the table, on its own tab

A takeaway carries a name and a pickup time instead of a table number, and is settled separately from any dine-in session.

Paid once, never twice

Settle on the register as a card payment, or send a QR pay link. The two are mutually exclusive by design — no double charge.

Pushed to the POS as takeout

The order goes to symPOSium as a takeout ticket with no table, so your fiscal and kitchen flow stay correct.

Off by default

Takeaway is a per-venue setting. Turn it on in the dashboard when the kitchen is ready for it, off when it is not.
